If you had to identify, in one word, the reason why the human race has not achieved and never will achieve its full potential, that word would be “meetings.”
Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.
You should not confuse your career with your life.
Never lick a steak knife.
There comes a time when you should stop expecting other people to make a big deal about your birthday. That time is age eleven.
The one thing that unites all human beings, regardless of age, gender, religion, economic status or ethnic background, is that, deep down inside, we ALL believe that we are above average drivers.
A person who is nice to you but rude to a waiter is not a nice person. (This is very important. Pay attention. It never fails.)
Never be afraid to try something new. Remember that a lone amateur built the Ark. A large group of professionals built the Titanic.
You should never say anything to a woman that even remotely suggests that you think she’s pregnant unless you can see an actual baby emerging from her at that moment.

Twist of fate. if Al Gore was proclaimed the winner of last US presidential elections, he would not have been even considered for the Nobel Peace Prize. By losing the presidential elections, Al Gore got more than anything he prayed for: the gratitude and respect of a world that is now slowly undertaking measures to combat global warming. Thanks to his resolute advocacy to raise our awareness, Al Gore is now bigger and greater than George W. Bush.
| (UPDATE) Gore, UN body win Nobel Peace Prize |
| “His strong commitment, reflected in political activity, lectures, films and books, has strengthened the struggle against climate change,” the citation said. “He is probably the single individual who has done most to create greater worldwide understanding of the measures that need to be adopted.” |
